Derivations Segment:
These two songs share a melody, though their lyrics are completely different. 'Matty Groves'is an English murder(double homocide, sometimes suicide crime of passion!) ballad which dates back to at least the 17th century and was collected by Francis James Child. Alternate Name include 'Little Musgrave' and 'Little Musgrave & Lady Barnard', and the Lord/murderer in the ballad is called various names-- Donald, Arlen, Daniel, Arnold, or Barnard. 'Shady Grove' is an 18th century American folk song which took the melody and 'Grove' name from 'Matty Groves'.
21) Matty Groves- Fairport Convention, Liege & Lief
22) Shady Grove- Doc Watson
--
23) Love Is Always Real- The Gentle Soul, S/T
24) Remember The Day- Sibylle Baier, The Colour Green
25) Girl I Love You- Michael Hurley
26) Always Bathing In The Evening- Will Oldham, Western Music
27) I Want Her, She Wants Me- The Zombies
28) I'm The Man That Loves You- Wilco
29) The Madness of Love
--
30) Oh Yoko- John Lennon, Imagine (one of my most favorite love songs of all time)

"Oh, Yoko" is about, could be, perhaps, the happiest song ever.

The funniest song ever about 'the breakin' of wind' must be moi's parody "The Lion Farts Tonight."

Stay on groovin' safari,
